The links provided below are organized according to each of the main navigation tabs on the Rebis site. Scroll to the area where you would normally find the type of content you're looking for, then click on the link to view its equivalent on bentley.com. If you can't find a particular item, contact us and we'll add it to the list. General comments about how we can improve your online experience are also welcome.

  Home Page

 
The Rebis home page content has been migrated as follows:

  • Feature Story: Bentley profiles its users and news items of interest on the main home page in a similar manner to Rebis' front page. There are also a variety of case studies available from within the product areas, and Bentley has an extensive news section.

  • Industry Links: Bentley provides information specific to the work that you do.

  • Rebis Digest: Bentley offers an electronic newsletter focused on the plant industry, Bentley Directions for Plant. Use your login to gain access and manage your subscriptions. (Note:MES users will be E-mailed a login ID and password as specified in the Support section below. Non-MES users can create a profile on the Bentley site to gain access to the newsletter area.)

  • Free Demo CDs: You can still request DemoCDs of Rebis products from any individual product page. In addition, if you are a SELECTservices subscriber you may also have rights to build your own demonstration CDs and have them mailed to you automatically.

  • News: The Bentley site maintains an up-to-date news section. Breaking news items are also frequently featured on the Bentley home page.

  Rebis Products

 
All of the Rebis products (Plant Design, Process & Instrumentation, CAE, Structural, PlantLIFE) can now be viewed from the Bentley site. You can request a sales contact, view multimedia demos, and all the other functions that were provided previously on the Rebis site. Products are organized under the 'Bentley Plant' group.   Support

 
We're committed to continuing outstanding online support for our subscription-based support customers. All current MES subscribers were E-mailed login credentials to access Bentley's SELECTservices area. In addition to the offerings you are familiar with on the Rebis site, SELECTservices has a number of value-added tools. Take some time to explore SELECT's left-hand navigation menu to learn more about what's available to you.

Note: If you are an MES User but have not received your login and password, first check with your company's MES Contract Administrator (now called the "Site Administrator" under SELECTservices). If you still need help, you should locate your affiliated Bentley Administration Center (BAC), and contact them with your problem.

  • Online Support: MES Users should begin using Bentley's SELECTservices. You should also note that the Rebis Online Support (MES) area remains open; however, this area is now read-only and none of the information is being updated, nor can you add new incidents or update an incident's worknotes. All of this information is consolidated on the SELECT site. A left-hand navigation provides access to your new set of support tools, and there are several additional options MES users will come to appreciate. Here is a further breakdown of where you can find specific Online Support equivalents (note that you must first login to access some of these pages):

    • Solutions: Bentley has an extensive Knowledge Browser. All Rebis solutions have been ported over into this system, and any new solutions will be added here ONLY (existing Online Support is now obsolete).

    • Errors: Currently, you can still track Errors from the Rebis site. This area remains live while we work out a solution for creating similar content on the Bentley site. In the meantime, you can either access this area from the Rebis site, or use a link provided inside SELECT to access the same pages (note that the interface has been redone to appear consistent with the SELECT area).

    • Logging a New Incident: From the link provided, select your product from the dropdown list, then complete the form to submit an online incident.

    • Viewing Incidents: This is labelled "Call Tracking" in the SELECT area.

    • License Info: Assuming your Site Administrator has granted you the correct permissions, you can view your company/location's License Information.

    • Change Password: In addition to changing your password, you can also update your personal email contact information.


  • MES Overview/Why MES?: Read Bentley's SELECTservices overview.

  • Downloads: Downloads (including product updates and patches) are available inside the SELECTservices area. Note that even if you are not a SELECT subscriber, you can search this area. However, you will only be able to download items according to your permission level. All patch downloads are currently available to all users. For a guide to locating Rebis-specific downloads in the SELECT area, click HERE.

  • Hot Support Issues: Bentley uses the main SELECTservices page to post any general notices about which users should be aware.

  • FAQs: General FAQs on Rebis products can be found on the TechNotes/FAQs section of the SELECTservices site under the heading "AutoPLANT Products."

  • Product Documentation: For the time being, this information remains on the Rebis site. We are currently in the process of transferring this information, and this page will be updated accordingly when the change is made.

  • Rebis Basic API Language Reference: For the time being, this information remains on the Rebis site.

  • Security Issues: A separate set of online documents has been prepared to address the issues related to Licensing and Authorization. Choose the link at left to learn more about security issues. Instructions are provided for both fixed and floating licenses.

  • User Groups: For the time being, this information remains on the Rebis site.
